Q: What do you think of MAC make up only users? I personally love MAC but I despise girls that will tell you oh no, I only use MAC. I feel like they have absolutely no idea there while MAC is fab, its not the only best make up around. I think its funny because I feel they are buying into the brand and they want to be associated with it. Its high end but its still affordable and its readily available. So its not like a rare line of make up. Your thoughts?

i honestly don’t think there’s anything wrong with just buying mac… it maybe a comfort/loyalty thing for them or it may just be that they simply don’t want to use anything else.

of course, it is their loss because there are SO many amazing products out there from super duper high end to the super duper inexpensive at the drugstore.

it doesn’t really have to do with my life or money and i can’t change their decision, i i figure, just let them be :)

Q: I can't speak for everyone, but in general, posts about insanely expensive, high end brands aren't submitted because people don't have them. Being a student, I don't have a lot of money. When I do buy make up, I'd rather get great products that are better quality than drug store ones, but don't empty my bank account. Hence why brands like MAC, Urban Decay, Too Faced, ect. are popular since they're perfectly in the middle. I'd never shell out 30 dollars for a lip balm, even if it is Dior.

Q: Discover Beautybay sells Urban Decay, goodbye paycheck. (Sidenote: Beautybay are literally the only site I've found that a) actually stock Urban Decay, b) actually ship to Australia, and c) do so for a reasonable additional cost. They're based in the UK, their prices are good, and I have yet to hear anything bad about them at all. I would definitely suggest them for anyone that can't buy Urban Decay in their own country.)

Q: I posted one of your pictures on the Pixiewoo FB page and she 'liked' it. I was overjoyed, but more so for you. Didn't post your page as a source as I didn't know your name and some people are quite particular about tumblr being made known to non tumblr folk etc, but I LOVE this blog <3

Q: What's wrong with applying makeup with your finger? Some of the submissions make it seem like it's a bad thing.

Q: thoughts on coastal scents palettes?
chriscocoa

personally i think it’s a great way to start playing with colors for so little money. they’re not the greatest eyeshadows in the world but how much matte sky blue or frosty candy pink eyeshadow does one really need?

Q: Hey I'm just getting into makeup (mostly because I can afford Mac and Sephora now) Yet I can't seem to find any really pale makeup gurus on youtube, or at least ones who like their skin-tone and aren't trying to cover it up with self tanners. Can you link me to any you know of? Or at least a good foundation tutorial for pale/fair skin? Thanks so much :)
loserlilly

sam from pixiwoo is pretty fair. vintageortacky is also pretty fair as well as sharonmakeupartist and misschievous is as well. that’s all i can think of off the very top of my head but if anybody else has any recommendations please go to loserlilly’s ask box :D
